-- today announced that Virtua Health, one of the largest
providers of homecare services in the country, has selected
its Misys Homecare product to manage clinical and financial
data, helping the organization increase efficiency and
profitability.
With this agreement, Misys Healthcare Systems has been
selected by one of the most well respected health organizations
in the country. Virtua Health features a large patient
base, with a census averaging over 1000 patient visits
daily. The company includes 350 employees, including field
nurses, home health aids, therapists, and others, across
several different locations.
Misys Homecare is a leading software solution that will
enable Virtua Health to manage nearly every facet of operations,
including clinical, financial, and administrative functions.
Field users will be able to effectively upload and download
data at the point of care, ensuring fast and continuous
access to patient information and enhanced patient care.
Paperwork will be electronically signed and transferred
back to the home office, allowing the agency to more easily
process critical information. In addition, because all
records will be electronic, the company will be able to
expedite patient billing and more accurately maintain
patient data. Finally, Misys Homecare will allow Virtua
Health to manage documentation so that it is always in
complete compliance with federal and state regulations.
